beach houses

they definitely are the best - finding one, however, can prove to be an absolute pain in the sack.

seriously.

i'm about to go look right now for what feels like the millionth time - except i never have actually looked - we just talk and talk and talk and do nothing. and that's great now while we're enjoying other people's beach houses but at the rate i'm going, i'll be lucky if i even get a couch to sleep on.

i think i have bronchitis. sick.

my feet smell like wet shoe leather.

be real, my roommates yelling to go.

a new day

it's a new gorgeous day - enjoy

Our deepest condolences

When some of my sophomore writers called me and told me about the car accident and how they were connected to it, i was so taken aback. You hear these things that happen at other colleges and you acknowledge them; never, however, do you really understand until it actually happens at your school.

I didn't know this girl from a hole in the wall, but 19 is too young. i don't have anything witty to say - i'm too tired, sick and hungover and it's not appropriate. My most genuine sympathies go out to the family and friends of Kristen Duhamel, the Fairfield sophomore who passed away last night in a car accident.

that's it because nothing at Fairfield really seems all too relevant right now.

keep at it

keep reading the mirror commentary section - it's the good shit

bob marley is playing right now and i am most definitely hung over - no class friday means i'm good for being a lazy nothing all day.

it's gorgeous out so i should probably be working on my paltry tan instead of sitting at a computer.

commentary section

section looks good, real good this week - hope everyone sees the print edition - next week, the barone food critic will be the balls on rye

Mark Reed lost weight - good for him, i would have too.

check out Haliskoe's whatever he calls what he does - it's probably a pretty solid read.

we're making a comeback

we were lazy but the time has finally come. mirror commentary is bringing more heat than public safety and it's going to be a hell of a year.

keep coming back for regular perspective on what you're thinking.
